I would have given 5 stars because Dr. Jackson is awesome. Very professional. Sorry that I can NOT say the same for his staff. I have been hung up on, insurance eligibility papers not read and I had to school them on what was covered, contacts not ordered, etc. I think from now on, I will get my script there and contacts elsewhere. If I could find a good Dr. like Dr. Jackson where the staff is more qualified, I'd go there. As it is now, I ordered contacts, over a week ago. They were never ordered, I found out by calling to see if they were in. I find out today, that they still are not in, which it doesn't matter because they ordered the wrong ones any way. Now, I'm to go out of town for the holidays, with the same trial pair in my eyes that I put in over two weeks ago... I feel really screwed over. It's a shame because I really liked the Dr.

Our family has used Dr. Jackson for an optometrist for many many years. He is an amazing caring doctor who always remembers each one of us and takes time with us. I do have to say that his office staff and his assistant on our past couple of visits have been extremely rude and very unprofessional.

Although Dr Jackson and staff were nice, is wasn't very nice of them to take all of my insurance info in advance and then to wait until after my eye exam to tell me that they didn't except my health insurance and my vision insurance only covered the exam, not the glasses. I wasted 2 visits and have to go to another eye Dr to get glasses! =(

I had burned the white part of my eye on a Friday afternoon from the oven in Katy and had plans to go to beach that evening. Glad I got an appointment on a Saturday. Dr Jackson was really detailed and super cool. Really nice guy for a early Saturday morning. If I lived in Lake Jackson I would certainly go here.
