I have taken my dogs here several times and they do a great job for a great value. The dogs are treated kindly and always seem calm and content when I pick them up. I can tell that they are gentle with them. They always have worked me in, even on short notice. After having PetSmart butcher my dog's hair and traumatize them, I have been extremely happy with Paw Spa.

Good luck getting in here! As they are not always there. No set hours!! I called to find out their hours so I could get my dogs nails clipped. The guy said we are here from 7am - 6 pm. I said can I make an appt. he said no, not needed. But, we prefer to do nail clippings from 4-6pm. I took my dog on Wednesday @ 5:25 pm and they were closed! I called on Thurs. again and asked what are your hours? The guy said 7-6pm I said you were closed yesterday at 5:25 pm. Oh well sometimes we leave early. Okay, if I can't make appt and you only do nail clippings from 4-6 then how am i supposed to know when to come? Can I come today I asked. No, we are probably going to leave early today. Wow!! I said okay, what about Friday? Well we MIGHT be there till 6. Call us on Friday morning and we will let you know! This is NO way to run a business!! Good luck if you go here ...if you can even catch them when they are open after 5pm!!!

I do NOT recommend this "spa" to anyone! I took my long haired dachshund for a trim. I specifically told the MANAGER to trim his tail,ears,chest & feet. He proceeded to show me the hair cut another long haired dachshund,who was waiting in a kennel for her owner & asked if I wanted the same cut. That dog was shaved,everywhere but her ears. I again told him that I did not want him shaved due to itching & the possibility that his coat would not grow back the same. He wrote down exactly what I wanted,on my file with all of my information. I dropped my dog off at 1230 & he was not ready until 4 that afternoon. I understand that grooming takes time,but when I picked him up I noticed that his tail was still as long as ever & his chest had not been trimmed. His entire belly was shaved,along with his sides. He also had a rash & one single cut on his stomach,which they later argued was self inflicted due to itching.....from the RAZOR BURN. They claimed that the shaving was for "sanitary reasons" & standard with all grooming procedures. I've never had a dog groomed before & was not aware of any of the procedures,so as a new customer I would've appreciated a little bit of information,especially when I repeatedly asked for him NOT to be shaved. I didn't realize that there could be exceptions to my rule without my permission.



The staff is rude,rude,rude. And to think they assured me that next time I brought him in,that they would go into better detail on the exact cut I would like & that they would not shave him. As if my first request to NOT shave him,was not enough,they thought I would take him back for round two?



PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO PAW SPA.
