Hadley-Luzerne Central School provides elementary, middle and high school education to children in grades kindergarten through 12. The school is located in Lake Luzerne, N.Y. Its elementary curriculum includes reading, writing, speaking and Internet skills, science and social studies. Its high and middle school curriculum also includes consumer science, world history, economics, government studies and vocational courses in food preparation and nutrition, fashion design and construction, architecture, personal money management, entrepreneurship, parenting and family relationships education, and environment and interior designing. The school libraries are equipped with a fully automated circulation system and provide an electronic card catalog. In addition, it offers an online catalog and database service allowing student access in the classroom and home. Hadley-Luzerne Central School provides several extracurricular activities, including basketball tournaments, breakfast with Santa, winter concerts and Red Cross blood drive.
