Provided by YPmobileIf I could give zero stars, I would! I'm new to central FL and decided to give this nail salon a try. HUGE MISTAKE!!!! During my spa pedicure, the tech used the microplane (cheese grater) to remove a pea-sized chunk of my big toe. She didn't even notice as she was talking to someone seated behind her. I ripped my foot away. She did apply antiseptic, but then tried to put my foot back into the pedicure tub. I actually had to tell this woman that could cause an infection. How is she licensed not knowing this?!?! She talked to the manager and then proceeded to charge me full price. No apologies. No acknowledgement from the manager.
Stay away from this place!

Hi Gigi, thanks for your feedback! but we are not sure about two hours mentioned is including the waiting time without appointment or just the service time only. the average time for the spa pedicure is 35 minutes and for Spa Manicure is about 20 minutes. however we always go extra miles than the limit to take good care of our customers. but we totally agree with you that two hours is too much. Really sorry for your discomfort and we look forward to see you again and don't forget to mention for your next service is that you are in a time constraint so we can make sure your service is done on time. thank you!

I was looking for a good place to do my nails, well I thought I found it, until one day I decided to do the eyelash extensions because didn't had the time to go to my usual person. Well the guy that was doing my nails highly recommended this lady because she been doing eyelash extensions for years, so I went into the little room, first of all she put a whole strip of lashes......but I can't open my eyes, second it smells like crazy glue, and I asked her and she said no, my eyes were so irritated that she brought me a fan. Well I left and could not drive home, my eyes were on fire and the eyelashes looked like trash. After this was a nightmare, everyday my eyes were so irritated to the point that I had to walk with eyedrops. Well I called Hugh the main guy there, I asked if she could remove this from my eyes, he said oh sorry come and she put a solution and take off. Went there, sat on a chair and she put this liquid in my eyes that when the drop was coming down my face was burning like hell. Well, she did it .3 times and the eyelash was still there. My husband upset asked her what she used to glue the lash and she told him a name that we googled and doesn't exist. So crazy glue right......had to pay someone else $50 to remove this and they could not believe the clumps of glue that I had to the point that they took pictures and everything. Please don't consider this people to do lashes, go to a professional, this was my eyelash nightmare.

Luckily I found this nail salon and they offer the best service ever, along with professional manner. You should give it a try !!! 2 thumbs up for this one,

Provided by YP.comI have never enjoyed a nail salon as much as this one. From the moment you walk in you can tell that it is not your normal neighborhood nail salon. This salon is beautifully decorated, there is always calming music playing, and it's HUGE! But that isn't even the best part. Their customer service goes above an beyond. The manager, Hugh, knows his customers by name. My nails always look wonderful and their waxing artist always does a great job. Do yourself a favor and make this your regular nail salon, I did!

Provided by YP.comI bought a Groupon.Com coupon.. Was super excited! Called their phone.. No answer for days! I sent an E-Mail to their website E-Mail address.. Still no response. I drove 12miles to just go there after finding time between my baby & my husband. I arrived... They had a Grand Opening sign out. I thought okay.. this is why they don't answer the phone or respond to e-mails. Walked inside at 4:00pm... I was greated by a guy that said "Can I help you?" I respond... " I have a Groupon.Com Coupon. I tried to make an appointment 1st. I Called & E-Mailed for days no picking up the phone or a response." The guy said.. "We are busy and you must call to make an appointment!" I said "How when I told you I called and E-Mailed?" He said "Go home and keep calling to make an appointment!!!" I said I am here can you make me one? He said "No keep calling!". It was not relaxing nor were the ones I met that work there friendly. I will soon be calling Groupon.Com for a refund! Don't go here!

As you may know that after running the promotion, our phone is ringing constantly all day long as everyone want to make appointment and we can't answer your phone because we are taking appointment from other customers, not because we have no one to answer the phone or we are ignoring you. The reason we are asking customers to make appointment does not mean that we are trying to give a hard time but to make sure we can serve you the best. We want to take time and take good care of you, not just try to get you in and get you out. For that reason , we stated clearly on the voucher that appointment required in advance so we have people ready for you when you walk in the door. The reason I couldn't take your request of making appointment now and having service now is because we did not have anyone available at that time and all the nail technicians are serving customers who were have appointment in advance. Regarding our website and email, in the last few days our web builder was working hard to solve the technical issues with the server and now it is totally solved. And for some reason we did not get your email and we are really sorry for that. In the mean time, if you want to contact me, please send your email to [email protected]. One thing I really don't get about your review is that I am the only guy in the salon in charged of taking appointment and greeting customer. I can assure you that I never said something to customer like "Go home and keep calling to make appointment !!!" or " No keep calling" . The only thing I said was " you need to make appointment, Dear" . I was taught that always be honest to the people and treat them the way you want to be treated. that is what I always keep in mind try to live up with and hope people treating the same way. Within 7 days since we ran the promotion, we have been serving more than a 150 customers with the vouchers. this weekend 9/7-9/8, we are fully booked but next week , from Monday 9/10, the storm will slowing down in the salon and we can take more customers in and we would love if you can give us a call to set up an appointment. And I promise you that you would have the best pedi and mani services at Ecco Nails & Spa.
