. I recently bought the Gems "Get Pumped;Sports ear buds" 3.5mm audio Jack, sports hooks and quality sound are written on the box. However the first time I plugged then into my phone, there was static...i know that's not a good sign, I gave you the benefit of doubt and made sure I had the cord super straight, with no tangles or creases. They worked well the first 2 times....then I made a call... The person couldn't hear me... Even thought there is a built in microphone. So, I unplugged the head phones from my phone, ever since then the volume on my phone, when I make or receive calls, is turned up to the maximum but, I can hardly hear the person on the other line and they cant hear me. My phone worked just fine until i plugged these ear buds in. I came to the conclusion that these head phones damaged my phone. I wasted my money & my time. I'm amazed that Target sells these. The box says these headphones will work on any phone, tablet, computer.... Anything. Not to mention the headphones are crap. The microphone came apart and I could see the wires and everything inside. I could actually put the microphone button back together but it would just fall apart again and again. I went to the GEMS website and wrote their customer service almost exactly what i wrote on this post, the woman said she was very sorry that i had a bad experience and she would do whatever she could to help me resolve the issues. I just had to send her a copy of the receipt and where i purchased them. I did send her exactly what she asked for. her Reply.... I encourage you to return the earbuds to target for a refund and there is nothing else i can do. there is no way our earbuds damaged your phone.... THAT'S IT LADY???? I actually thought she genuinely wanted to help me. lol, guess the joke was one me. Just a word of advice to anyone thinking of buying these headphones... DON'T DO IT. you will regret it when you get home and use them the first time and then they break. WHY DOES TARGET SELL THESE? I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED IN TARGET FOR SELLING THIS CRAP AMD WASTING MY TIME AND MONEY.
