A lot of smoke & mirrors when ...

A lot of smoke & mirrors when it comes to rates and billing. Pretty decent cleanings and whitening procedures, but be cautious about the price of fillings, etc. Too costly for no apparent reason. Recommend seeing someone else.

Do NOT go here

Office is nice, clean and has the latest equipment. However, Dr. will upgrade your required work and charge you WAY to much for the work he does. The office staff is nice enough but not thoroughly trained. They are evasive when questions are asked and the DR. does not give you options for treatment. His way or no way.

He took over this practice after the death of the former owner - he did not come to lake orion on recommendation!!!

He is NOT flexible and if he has any issue with you he handles it via mail - not phone, not in person and very impersonal. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone!

My new dentist saw his work and warned me that I would have to have some of it re-done. I didn't believe him at first but guess what? I'm having to have half of what he did redone!!!

You've been warned....

New owner/dentist at Lake Orion Family Dentistry

After reading that Lake Orion Family Dentistry had a new owner in February 2010, I made an appointment and found the staff to be friendly and efficient. Dr. Greenfield is the best! He did the most thorough exam of my mouth and gave me options to correct my condition. I am so happy with the results and am switching my family to this wonderful dentist! He uses the best techniques and equipment and made me so comfortable that I wish I had found him sooner. He also won awards for pediatric dentistry so I know my kids will be safe in his hands.

Too Expensive

Beware of this dentist--- we went in for only a minor procedure and were charged almost 40% more than other area dentists. His receptionist said he took my insurance, but I found out later that did'nt mean that he participated. They are not forthcoming about these things. He has a fancy office... but you'll pay for it. He also had a poor manner with my children. I would not go there again.
