When our family started in the industrial coatings business in 1976, the companies that supported that industry were few and far between. We quickly grew and became the largest DuPont industrial coatings dealer in the United States. As we went along we recognized the need for a high quality floor coating Application Company. We decided to open Detroit Painting Co. to satisfy the growing business of coating industrial floors. We became aware of the need for a specialty supplier serving only the floor coating industry. This idea is what gave birth to Metro Floor Coating Supply. Due to our experience in the industrial coatings business, we were able to formulate and manufacture our own epoxies and urethanes thus eliminating middle man. This is the primary reason that we are able to bring such economical prices to such a niche market.
