Founded in 1958, Trader Joe s sells a variety of products, such as gourmet, organic, vegetarian, frozen and imported foods, as well as domestic and imported wines. Its alternative food items include breads, cereals, eggs and other products. Trader Joe s also offers nonfood items, including personal hygiene products, household cleaners, vitamins, pet food items, and plants and flowers. The company is also one of the exclusive retailers of Charles Shaw wine.

I LOVE this store. I enjoy the bustle and noise. It is not loud or in any way offensive. It is simply the sound of people having fun. The happiness there is contagious! We always come UP emotionally ! It sometimes feels like we are at a party!

The selection and prices are fantastic. The store is clean and brightly lit and has wonderful hand made graffics on the walls and so on.

The people are the most friendly in any store, and I feel they are SINCERE and not just being friendly because they were told they had to be, which, frankly, has been the case with some other stores.

They have gone out of their way to help me. Examples: 1. My elderly mother was tired, and a young man overheard her saying so. He politely took her arm and escorted her to a chair. 2. We did not know which of several items to choose, and the woman observing us suggested one we had never considered trying, and it was wonderful. 3. We bought something we did not like, and the store took it back for a full refund no questions. 4. I misplaced my paper with the number of nickles on a bottle return. The cashier believed me when I said I should have 65 cents reduced from my bill.
