All the food comes from cans, ...

All the food comes from cans, whether they call it Chinese, Japanese or Mexican. It is tasteless and mushy. It is the worst food I have ever paid for.

The service is awful. The owner/waitress barks out at you to see if you are ready to order. She never smiles and looks angry.

If this restaurant were not across from the Olympic Arena and pulled in visitors who will not come back anyways, it would have been out of business a long time ago.

I discovered a love of sushi in my early 20's and have been to countless sushi restaurants over the years. I am 37 now and eat at Oshaka at least twice a week. It is by far the best sushi restaurant I've experienced. I haven't tried their westernized chinese food menu so cannot comment on that. For sushi lovers I recommend the sushi "hand rolls" which are an ice cream cone shaped seaweed wrapping with a generous portion of fish and a modest portion of rice. Best bet for your money at about $5-$6 each. The house saki is delicious and inexpensive (though they have higher end saki choices as well) and served piping hot. I highly recommend the waitress Lucy who has an amazing story and past in her life and she's very fluent and conversational and can answer any questions about any menu items.
