Nick - the Operations Manager - Is very rude. Kenny - one of their contractors - came to my home unannounced and did a back-flow test on our sprinkler system. No appointment because, we are not a customer of Professional Irrigation. Our system is Brand New under Dade Irrigation and under warranty. Our warranty with Dade states that if our system is touched by any irrigation system other than Dade it will be voided. We did not know Kenny was on our property until he rang our bell for payment for services. I reported this to Dade to ensure our warranty is kept. Dade's protocol is to inspect our system for $75. I was told on 4/30/18 by the office personnel with Professional Irrigation Systems to remove their tag. I will not because if there is any damage, I am not paying for it. We just had our system tested and set up for the summer 1 week prior by Dade. Professional Irrigation is responsible for the $75 inspection fee. Nick called me today he would like to come out when Dade is here and they would all get a good laugh out of the situation. He called Dade to find out the exact time but their office is closed this afternoon. Nick called again, let me know he couldn't reach anyone, and stated that everything is fine. That they are a reputable AAA company that handles their customer concerns, etc. I said, being a reputable company I expect they pay for inconveniences their personnel causes another - customer or not. He stated he thought he could just speak with an adult from Dade to resolve without any fees. (second insult) I then asked him why he didn't think he was speaking with an adult now. He denied saying that. Said he would have an adult conversation with someone from Dade. Again, I asked him what we were having it if was not an adult conversation. He denied saying that as well. Said it was a recorded conversation. I said good he needs to go back and listen. I expect to be shown the professional responsibility of paying for my inspection.
