LSCD is the best daycare in lake stevens-hands down! They are genuine people who care about the children. Affordable and easy to communicate with. My 2 year old loves going "to school". The staff love and care about him and there is no staff turnover so he has made lasting relationships. The building is light and airy-newly remodeled. They have 2 age appropriate outside play areas. They provide all food and milk for the kids. They even provide diaper wipes! Bonus! Miss Leah always takes the time to chat with me about my little guy each day. We love LSDC so much that when we moved to Mukilteo 8 months ago we continued to keep our child enrolled there-we just commute! Great job to all that work there! my kids are so happy. When i walk in i'm greeted by a staff and the children have different activites out . they do have a wii but it's only 10 minute per child per day in the am and 10 minute in the pm and only 3 days a week thats nothing .my children dont want to miss a day of daycare they have a great summer program with art and crafts , science and field trips daily we have been here 3 years we love it here.thanks Karen Horton

PARENTS- I live across the street from the daycare, I see, hear and watch everyday what happens in the play area. Staff are very patient and caring to every child, if one child is standing alone they get them involved with others, Now for the children... some have NO RESPECT for others not staff or other children their own age, Saying no to staff when give direction is not ok, but each staff member i have seen are patient and consistent. Some Parents just don't see how OUT OF CONTROL their children are. I give this Day Care credit for doing a great job.

We have been here since 2009 and my children love it. The staff is caring and patience. and theirs lots for them to do. And my children are happy here. Thank you

I really liked the staff here except for the preschool teacher Miss Sara. I have a child with special needs I guess you could say. High energy and very loving...did I mention, high energy. Roxanne and Amy were excellent and really seemed to want to provide for my child, however, with the very limited/open space and staff to child ratio, especially during times when school age children are present, mass chaos and disorganization was inevitable. I feel that the love is there, but the staff and organization just is not. If your child thrives in an environment of unpredictability, and a ton of chaos, and can be distracted and still learn, this may be the place for you. My recommendation, go early in the morning before the school age children leave, and visit again during "preschool" time. This is more of a militant environment, rather than explore and grow with love and direction, because of the teacher/child ratio. Your child is entertained with TV and the Wii..not for us!
