Located in Lake Tapps, Wash., Crestwood Elementary School serves students in grades kindergarten through five. It is operated by the Sumner School District and offers various subjects in its curriculum that include art, music, foreign language, physical education, reading, language arts, special education, and speech, technology, science and social studies. The school also offers various grants and special programs that include vision quest, early reading first, language academy, reading recovery, arts quality teaching network and title programs. Additionally, its facilities include a media center, computer laboratory, athletic department and a cafeteria. Crestwood Elementary School offers a variety of co-curricular activities, such as the technology club, safety patrols and peer mediation. The school offers an after-school tutoring program to help students who need extra assistance.
