I live in Lake Zurich, IL. I needed to fix my leather purse, which had a ripped off handle. I saved the piece which attaches that handle to the purse and brought it to Johnny’s shoe repair. He took my purse, saying that it’s good that I saved that attachment as it will be needed for the repair. He then told me to come next Friday. I came in two Fridays instead, as I was out of town. He pulled my purse out of the pile, briefly looked at it and proclaimed: “I missed it, come next Friday”. First of all, it was two Fridays already, and he still didn’t fix it; second he didn’t even say he was sorry for being so late!



I told him that I hope it gets fixed by next Friday. He angrily stared at me, and said: “Oh, as you have some attitude, I am not going to fix it at all” and tossed the purse into my hand. That important attachment was missing. When I inquired about it, he said he threw it away.



I'd rather drive a few extra miles to another shoe repair to have my stuff fixed than to get Johnny's" unprofessionalism, disrespect, and trashy demeanor. Based on my experience, I highly discourage everyone from using his service.
