Provided by YP.comThis is a must go to campground and RV park. This weekend of the 23rd of June, will be my third time going and I can’t think of any other place that I would rather go to in the area. I am traveling from the Pomona area of California, and let me tell you the 9 hour drive is unquestionably worth it. The tent camping experience is what I was looking for and let me tell you me and my family found it here! If you love trees and a great atmosphere of the great outdoors encompass in some good Northern California hospitality, then make your way and your reservations at this beautiful campground. This is the place to relax and have a little fun!! Don’t hesitate to really meek and socialize with the owners because they are as about as friendly as a couple of hunting dogs and if anyone knows anything about hunting dogs, they are your best friends! See ya now…

Provided by YP.comOur group just booked 6 campsites, 3 RV sites, the Cabin and 2 Cabin Tents for July. The Cabin tents are so perfect for our "Non" camping family members! We come from Colorado, Las Vegas, Portland and San Jose to get together every year. The cabin is small but cozy, clean and has a big porch and a giant fire pit. It has air conditioning and a kitchen, We were there last year and had a terrific time! Lots to do, lots of shade, and the owners were very friendly. Our children keep asking when we will be back.

Provided by YP.comBasically, after booking a cabin ("lil' Kabin) we arrived after 6 hours in a car to see the cabin completely different than we expected. The first thing we noticed was the heavy smoke smell, and dinginess. When I walked around I saw that the twins beds were more like cots, and not suitable for full grown adults. That was not a huge issue, as our children are small. But when walking into the small bathroom, the major issue, besides the lack of cleanliness, was that there was only a small, stand-up shower. I had told the owner I had a 1 and 2 year old and never imagined there would not be a bathtub to bathe them in. After sitting down and discussing our situation with my husband, who was very unhappy and could not breathe in the cabin from the smell, we decided to tell the owners as quickly as possible so that we could figure something out. While sitting on the futon I also noticed there were holes in the backdoor which explained the terribly cold draft I was feeling on me back and arm even with the heater on. It was getting dark and we needed to sleep in a suitable place. They could not offer us any other accomidations and when we politely voiced our concerns they defended their cabin and saying the smoke smell was from camp-fire (totally different smell than cigarette smoke).
Anyway, they did not give us a full refund. If they had, I would have still left happy, feeling like they did everything they could to help us out when their cabin was not as cozy as they had made out. Instead I left crying, and feeling like I had let me family down since I had booked the cabin. I always book our vacations and have never had this problem. It really dampened this vacation and I still think they should have given the full refund as they could not offer us another cabin or facility that could meet our needs. If we had cancelled or done something on our part, then we would be liable, but that was not the case. I felt like the owners did not care for us as a family, but only were concerned with getting money. I wish I could say otherwise.
I hope that others won't make the same mistake I did!
Although we regret that this young family was disappointed enough to post such a harsh review, we believe that they set their expectations much too high. We do not advertise this in the Cabin catagory. Our "Lil" Kabin is posted as "Lil" for a reason. We also call it "Nostalgic". In other words, it is not a newer Cabin. It is also advertised as being In A Campground. We did inform them of all of these features when making their reservations. Although it is small, it is clean and comfortable. This Kabin has been booked 85% since last spring and we have had no complaints before, and we have many return requests for the future. They were given an extremely discounted rate for 3 nights and we refunded 2 of the nights and all tax, everything except the deposit of the first night, which we believe is standard and fair. We also make sure that everyone who inquires or makes reservations is aware that this Kabin is situated in a Campground. Hence the occasional smell of campfire smoke. Still a great deal for any Cabin in this area.
