Kathleen High School serves more than 1,900 students in grades 9 through 12. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in social studies, math, science, art, music, foreign language, and physical and business education. It offers guidance counseling sessions. Kathleen High School maintains a parent-teacher-student association that works for student welfare. The school has a library that offers a range of educational resources and materials. Kathleen High School administers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. The school has art, key, drama and French clubs, as well as a student council. It provides opportunities for students to participate in a range of sports activities, such as tennis, baseball, softball, cross-country, golf, soccer, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. Kathleen High School is governed by the Polk County Public School District.
