Kathleen Middle School is a coeducational institution that is a part of Polk County Public Schools and is located in Lakeland, Fla. The school has a guidance department that provides basic assistance to students regarding scholarships, career planning, and social and mental problems. Kathleen Middle School maintains several school organizations, including a student council, geobowl, the Future Business Leaders of America, Future Farmers of America and National Junior Honor Society. In addition, it has chess and art clubs. The school operates a media center that offers a collection of business and company databases, magazines, journals, newspapers and online research links for additional resources. Kathleen Middle School has an annual enrollment of more than 750 students in sixth through eighth grades.
