I attended a friends wedding at this location, she definally over paid this jerk (the for the services. She was supposed to have a DJ and come to find out apparently he didn't show and Phil (the owner ) took it upon hiself to try and DJ and screwed everything up with not playing any of the songs requested and stop and starting songs over. Most of her guest (about half) were leaving because they were bored and no music was playing for guest to dance...She also was told she had the place until midnight but he told everyone around 10 it was time to clean up...Then at the end of the night he was asking the newly married couple for more money because he said it was an "inconvenience" to play songs that people were requesting...But correct me if im wrong, isnt that what a DJ is supposed to do? And if you pay someone to do a job you expect to get what yiou pay for! ! I would never reccommend this place to anyone, total rip off!

The MR is fantastic!! I have had the pleasure of playing there many times and it is one of my favorite places to play......BYOB and sit back and enjoy some great bands!!

first of all, i beilieve it was started to just have a good time. yes it grow. prices go up! you need to just deal with it , and have a good time. if your party is bigger than what you need go somwhere else. why bash the place because it not as big as you wanted. It wasn't big enough for my wedding, but i love the place and will always be there.

To begin with, I am with the company BEAT PROS and we are looking for a location for this years 2nd annual "Everything Hip Hop VIP Party Of The Year". So I called this idiot phillip at the Bannana Music Ranch in lakeland, a few years ago to rent the place out for the night and he told me $300.00.This year i call him and gave him the same scenario he told me $1500.00 and mind you the place only holds less than 250 people. I guess he is the owner so he can put his own price on things but I am just warning people not to deal with this crooked place.. And I will warn all my contacts in lakeland, all my friends and will be posting from my websites to shy away from ever using this venue and dealing with this crook.
