I have taken my many pets to this clinic since 1996. I trust Dr Howell and Dr Adler with their lives.

Polk County Animal Hospital is the best. I trust them with my pets. They have a polite and caring staff.

This place took excellent care of my dog. We had an emergency and my dog needed to see the vet right away, they were booked solid but the receptionist spoke to the vet and she agreed to sqeeze us in. Ended up he needed surgery which they did. I am deeply grateful to the vet and the staff @ polk county animal hospital for all their help and compassion.

Staff was very unfriendly. We missed an appointment and they didn't bother to call to remind us of the mix up. They didn't really care if we came back or not. Care from vets has been good. Wish staff was more caring and friendly.

I cannot give enough praise to Dr. Howell and her staff - experienced, professional, caring, compassionate,knowledgeable, my dogs are treated as "family" each and every time, whether it is an emergency or a routine appointment, you could look far and wide and not find a better veterinary hospital. I have taken my dogs to Polk County Animal Hospital for nearly 4 years. They always provide great professional veterinary care. I never worry about my dogs when I board them there and my dogs seem to love it. The doctors and staff really care about the animals there like they were their own.

Great staff with a genuine caring attitude. My cat was sick and being a new patient I thought I would have to wait days for an appointment. My cat was seen that day and the doctor answered all my questions and helped put my mind at ease. When you are new to an area, finding things like a good vet can be a problem. I feel fortunate I was able to find Polk County Animal Hospital.

I took my dogs there 6/23/2011 for their yearly shots. I had never been there before.The office was clean and warm. The vet was very friendly and knowledgeable and the vet techs very helpful. For an exam, heartworm check,DHLP-P shot, rabies shot and fecal exam was around $100 for each dog which is cheap. I will definitely use this vet again.

We really like Polk County Animal Hospital, because they take the time with our dogs. One of our dogs has a lot of problems and they treat her like she is their. It is very comforting.
