My dad has been in this facility twice. The first time was 6 months ago and it was a good experience. He’s back in there now and it’s horrible! The cleanliness is terrible. There’s No trash bags in the trashcan’s. But they leave used to catheter bags etc. in the cans, souled linens in the trash cans etc. We’ve pushed the button for help and waited for hours and finally have to go to the nurses station to get help. The nurses act like it’s normal for that kind of care. When you ask the.nurses question most of the time they have no answers. My dads catheter was broken and urine all over the place after the aid and I bother told the nurse she left and went to Starbucks. When she came back she still didn’t do anything about it until I got the charge nurse to fix it. They’ve missed his breathing treatments and is wasn’t in the notes. We wouldn’t have known if we wouldn’t have found the medicine in the machine where it had been left and not given to him. His breathing treatments and medications are late more than on time. It’s been extremely frustrating and when you try to complain there’s no one in authority to get help from. There’s at least one family member with my dad from 5 to 9 hours every day. I can’t imagine what the care would be like for the people that doesn’t have anyone there to look out for them.

My mother was sent here to stay in the rehab wing after hip surgery. I was MORTIFIED at the service!

My mother was released from Lakeland Medical Center into this facility. The facility was hot, loud music & the nurses were rude. My mother was complaining of a severe headache. After 10 min, I found the nurse & asked her to give my mother something for the pain. Almost immediately after the nurse gave my mother the "crushed aspirin" she vomited all over herself. The nurse sat her bed up a little & left the room, saying someone would come clean her up. I literally stood over my mother's bed for 10 min crying for help, holding her so she wouldn't get in the mess or choke when she got sick. No one came. Thankfully my brother walked in the room & ran to get the nurses. The next day, mother was not herself. I asked for the doctor & said something was wrong. They didn't listen. 2 hours later mom had a seizure while I was at home. The nurses called & said mom was being sent by ambulance to the hospital for a fever (no mention of seizure!). 3 weeks later Mom is still in ICU.
