Blacktail Mountain Ski Area encompasses more than 1,000-acres of National Forest with a vertical elevation of nearly 1,445-feet in Lakeside, Mont. The average annual snowfall on the mountain is more than 245-inches. Offering a breadth of amenities, the three-story lodge located at the top of the mountain houses the ticket office, a full-service rental shop and Blacktail Trading, all maintained on the first floor. The Blacktail Lodge offers two options for dining, including the Upper Terminal Caf and Muley's Pub and Restaurant. With ski-season beginning December through mid-April, Blacktail Mountain remains open Wednesday through Sunday.
