Established in 1897, Denver Musicians Association is Denver's premier organization serving the public with well-experienced, high quality professional musicians in the Rocky Mountain Region. Its members include musicians, composers, arrangers and singers from a variety of styles and groups ranging from folk singles, duos, and jazz & rock combos to the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.In addition to musical artists for live performances, many members are equipped and qualified to provide services for recording ( i.e., film, video, advertising ) for business and industry. The DMA has national ties through its affiliation with the American Federation of Musicians ( AFM ) as Local 20-623, and is a member of the AFL-CIO.
