Black-eyed Pea was founded by the Dallas-based restaurateur, Gene Street, in 1975. The restaurant s tag line is "Home Style Cooking at its Best". Black-eyed Pea serves entrees with two of its prepared vegetables, such as baked squash casserole, mashed potatoes and black-eyed peas, as well as hot yeasty wheat rolls. I cannot eat here any more because they won't take a phone order to eat there. I've done it prior but now will go eat somewhere else everyday FOOLS-must be busy enough without to go orders:(
