I had needed to get an oil change for about a week now and took it to Madison Auto because they were the only place locally that was open. while getting my oil changed they noticed one of my tires was low and found a nail in it too which couldve been a problem down the road. They were fast and kept me updated on what was going on with my vehicle

We came from out of town to a freinds house last weekend in cleveland. Our car broke down the first day here and we had no clue where to take it. Jerry and his team were able to fix my problem and even overnighted a part for my VW because no one local had it. We were extremely pleased with their service. Wish we had shops like you up here in Detroit!

Took truck in to diagnose No start no crank issue, ended up paying $80.00 for them to charge the battery and tell me the problem was the fuel pump and that they wanted $700 to replace the pump. Took the truck to a family trusted mechanic, who just had the whole truck torn apart 3 weeks prior, he checked, fuel pump was fine, only problem was the battery the whole time. THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS!!!!!

My experiences with Jerry at Madison Ave Auto, better know to me as Marathon has been one of over charging and not caring about their work performed. Here is my story, one of my encounters with Jerry and Madison Ave. Auto. I had a job to go to Boston so I decided I needed to new front tires for the truck so I go to Jerry on Friday morning so he could put 2 new tires on and align the front end. I get off work around 4pm go to pick up the truck and the front tires are sitting all crooked on the truck like Boe-legged I go to Don and tell him look at the tires this is all wrong and Don says well the Mechanics are finished for the day and do not have time to look at it. Isay Don I have a job to Boston tonite and really need you to look into this. He says ok and tells me that is how the tires are suppose to sit on the truck and I said you are wrong. Well the mechanics all left now so I am either forced to cancel my Boston job or trust Don that the tires are supposed to look like they did all bowl legged. Igo to Boston and back Barley the tires wore down to the medal wires in the tires, steel belt, I go to Jerry on Monday and though they replaced the tires and claim to have re-balanced the tires they still seemed off . So I go to Carnegie auto on Tuesday to re-align the tires and sure enough when they finished all looked perfect. Jerry claimed the alignment was off only 1 degree though the tires only survived 1,000 miles. And the price of the tires was $175.00 a piece I could have gone to West-town tire and got them for $75.00 a piece .Over charge and crappy workmanship, ans a sh**ty attitude is Marathon Madison Ave. Auto.
