My father is trying to use this place to try to get a divorce. They are saying they have done the wrong paperwork multiple times and are charging him for their mistakes. They are basically doing everything and anything to get more money out of him. He's very trusting and an easy target. It's like he's been sucked into one of those phone or internet scams, but they actually have a "business" that looks somewhat legit so they make their scam more believable. Finding him a lawyer and trying to explain all the lies they've told him. I feel like he can't go in there alone anymore it's so scary. This has to be illegal! This is a law office saying they are turning in documents that they are sitting on or turning the wrong forms on purpose then charging extra for their mistake. In the meantime they are making this divorce drag on...for again more $$$$. Unbelievable! They should not be offering legal services or doing divorces if they have no clue what they are doing!

What a nightmare! I had gotten offered a new job in a different city so I did a Relocation with children and new Parenting Plan with We the People. They LITERALLY only filled out the paperwork and then sent me the wrong ones. I called a number of times to ask what we do next as nobody was telling me anything. Finally I called 8 times in one day to talk to the person working on my case only to find disappointment. They said I HAD TO FILE THE STUFF WITH THE COURTHOUSE. Which I thought has already been done! That being said it delayed my moving process by 7 days. At this point I hired a new attorney to help me with the process as I didn't know I would have to be doing the whole thing on my own?! The new attorney was great and helped me to figure out a way to make it so I could leave on time! I don't think I will be going back here and definitely learned you get what you pay for!

The lawyers, the staff and Alice have been nothing but awesome, wonderful and generous. I have had multiple business dealings with We The People over the past several years. As to some of the bad reviews, I am also a business owner, and I can tell you sometimes even the best of staff have bad days and/or are overloaded on any given day. Want awesome service at prices that you won't have to mortgage your home over? See the folks at We The People.

paid over $1000 for an uncontested divorce and they let me down. Communication is nonexistent with these people, I constantly had to call them for updates and finally I had to contact the court myself to find out that my divorce was finalized 2 weeks after the fact making me late for my first child support payment and possible legal problems

Good services....granted they can get very busy because of the high demand for family law, bankruptcies, wills, etc. They have always been professional despite the high volume of clientele. They've been doing business in Lakewood for years and two of my attorney friends refer people there all the time. I've been very satisfied with my experiences there.

Scheduled an appointment for Bankruptcy. While I did not ask the cost, the guy on the phone could have told me BK's START at $645 rather than making me waste my time in going down there. The woman at the front desk was rude when I tried suggesting this. Making excuses, rather than simply taking my advice to LET PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS KNOW at least the minimum cost out of pocket, she said rudely, "Well, you COULD have asked!" It should be SOP to inform prospective clients what their services might cost. The office was terribly unprofessional, taking care of personal, legal matters right at the front desk. They had offices. Just RUDE RUDE RUDE! Don't go unless you can actually afford their outrageously priced services and don't mind being treated like a number. The woman had the gall to tell me they get thousands of calls/day. Ok, so I'm a number to them. Screw em.

I brought in a friend who is in her later years. I found the service to be excellent. No waiting. They had answers for questions I had not even thought about. They were efficent and very adaptable. I was glad I went and will continue to refer clients and my friends to them. The price was very low. Much lower than I expected

We used WTP two years ago, we found them to be professional, timely, and affordable. I would recommend them.

Granted, good front counter help is hard to find, most every where. Once you get past the changing front desk help, I have never seen the same person at the front desk since I have been going there. My experience has been positive in that I have had good service to include having questioned answered on the phone. They even told me which form to use if I wanted to do something myself, or they would do it but needed to charge for the service.

I first attempted to go to We the People to have them create some estate documents for me. I found the staff to be extremely rude. I was shoved a clipboard and told to wait. 20 minutes later no one helped me. I felt that they were rude and uncaring of their customers. So I found a different company to use and found their service superb in every way - even cheaper than We the People. ###Do not use this company.
