Our whole family has been so happy with this center over the years. The director/owner is fabulous, and has been running the gingerbread house for over 20 years! She really takes the time to get to know the kids and the families at her center and makes everyone feel welcome and loved. The staff all really know how to work with all sorts of personalities, and really keep the kids stimulated. What I really love about the place is that it's HUGE! Other centers I visited had so many kids crammed into a tiny room. The classrooms have enough space so kids have elbow room, and one sneeze won't cover the entire room. Another great thing, especially during the six months of rainy, gray weather we have in this area is the center's "big room." The room is lined with bookshelves stocked with children's books, but also serves as a place for active play, when the weather is just too cold or wet for playing outside. Meals are very healthy too. My kids kept asking me to "cook like they do at school." Haven't really heard that since they started elementary school though . . . All in all, the gingerbread house is a great center, my sister, aunt and I have all been thoroughly pleased and would recommend this center to anyone and everyone.
