Property Owner: BEWARE!
While overly enthusiastic and organized during the initial stages of contract and tenant procurement, once a lease is executed, they've got you and good luck getting this company to communicate with you or heed your preference(s) as the property owner when it comes to maintenance-related issues. Believe me, your pocket book will pay the price! Hands-down the WORST property management experience I've EVER incurred. Stay away ... stay VERY far away from Parkwood!

Worst and straight up rude company to work with. Valerie, the owner of Parkwood Property is the worst person to work with. They do not practice fair housing laws at all. I have a credit 750+ with a steady resource proof, bank statements, clean background and 3+ years of clean rental history. My application has been approved in an instance. Just because I'm a student and I suggested my rights as a renter, she got upset and adjusted the additional deposit from the previous negotiated price so that I would not be able to rent the property. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? If asked to negotiate, she will avoid phone calls, appointments and does not provide a clear solution to a fair rental agreement. I feel as if my rights of an equal housing has been violated. GOOD LUCK IF YOU ARE RENTING FROM PARKWOOD PROPERTIES AND VALERIE ESPECIALLY. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, TIME, AND EFFORT!

These incompetent girls will be as sweet as honey to get your money and as soon as you sign and things start to break and go wrong nobody answers emails or phone calls. We have been lied to, left with sewage water in our sink an dishwasher for weeks, and everything imaginable has broken and they take their time to replace it and God forbid you call them out on their scams they will threaten you! They hate military and were recently removed off the housing list due to so many issues. Please don't make the same mistake we did and fall for rat face Katies bull$h@t! There are so many other wonderful rental agencies around here and the stress, anxiety brought on by PPM aren't even worth it!

The two women who run PPM are only as nice as they have to be. They do not like to be helpful or explain anything to you, they just do their best to make you feel stupid so you wont ask any more questions. They are rude, but polite enough, no they are not having a bad day and you should not assume that its just with you, they are always like this. I would rent from them knowing to be cautious and not to take anything personally. They have great locations, so don't look elsewhere just because of this review, its just an FYI.

I tried to schedule a viewing for 2 of the homes listed on their property management company. Valarie refused to work with our schedules in order for my husband and I to view the homes. One would think that the owners of these homes would like to get them rented ASAP and would be very upset to know that their property management company (whom they are paying) would not work with potential renters in order to view the homes. Very disappointing to say the least. Shame on this company.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would! The owner of this management company is so unprofessional. My husband and I are business professionals and have great income and history. The owner, Valarie, treated us like we were renter trash even before we leased the home we were looking at. I even saw her slam a phone down and roll her eyes after speaking with a potential client about the features of a property. Needless to say, we opted to not lease the property solely because of her attitude towards us. Wow! I feel sorry for anyone having to deal with this company and can only advise everyone (renters and property owners) to steer clear!!!!!!!
