About Sam Stevens Inc is a family owned and operated manufacturing business headquartered in Lamesa, Texas. It was founded by Samuel Logan Stevens in 1938 as a blacksmith operation. In 1946 Sam Edward Stevens began working with his dad in the business. Sam Edward Stevens transitioned the company into a manufacturing and repair facility for area farmers. The company was located in downtown Lamesa, until October 1964 when Sam built a new plant at 2000 Lubbock Highway. Since then the company property expanded to five buildings located on approximately 30 acres. Today, Sam Stevens builds and manufactures their own line of specialty tillage tools for agriculture producers. The company sells products in all agriculture areas in the southwestern and southeastern United States.
