The Antelope Valley Schools Transportation Agency, also known as AVSTA, offers a range of pickup and drop-off services for school students of the Antelope Valley in California. The agency is a public organization that serves the Antelope Valley Union High School District, Keppel Union School District, Lancaster School District, and Westside Union School District. It offers a variety of transportation solutions for field trips and regular and special education programs. The agency employs a staff of more than 190 people. Operational since 1980, it transports over 6,000 students annually and has nearly 85 routes. The Antelope Valley Schools Transportation Agency maintains a fleet of approximately 200 buses that travel up to 3 million miles annually.
