He is absolutely awful. His bedside manner is rude and dismissive. While having my baby boy at AV hospital he barged into my private room while I was showering with my newborn baby in the room asking if I was leaving today. When I told him no, as my insurance that I pay for allows me another day, he became nothing short of belligerent. A/V Hospital should NOT allow male doctors to walk into the room of female patients, especially while showering. I told him to come back after I put on clothes and he refused, demanding I answer what day I am leaving. It was completely inappropriate. And as patients it is our choice as to how long we stay in the hospital, we cannot be forced. He has absolutely no control as to when I can leave. I would never want to see this doctor or choose him to be in any part of the process of me bringing another child into this world. He is absolutely awful and if you would like your birthing experience to be enjoyable and amazing he should not be apart of the process in any way.

Dr Kurian is a fantastic doctor, the reason his waiting room is packed .. He
is well worth the wait!! Dr Kurian is genuinely concerned, takes his time to listen and always has a pleasant "Smile" on his face ... Which is wonderful as many doctors barely look you in the eye. I dealt with a major pain issue and by communicating with him he helped. Sometimes pain won't go away, but he
made it tolerable. My mom was struggling with a very serious issue. She lived out if town. Dr Kurian did an amazing job of getting her in and then to where she needed to be. When other doctors wouldn't listen to my mom or look her in the eye ... Dr Kurian got serious and listened to her with a smile. For that I owe a debt of gratitude. See for yourself .. He is one of the best!!

He and his staff are very good, however the waiting room is always packed.

He did my Hysterectomy, which was a 4 and a half hour surgery w/ complications. Very good surgeon, except that when it came to dealing with pain after surgery I felt he wasn't very compassionate. All together though a very good surgeon, but he smiles way too much.
