It's closed with no notice for the gym members and charge me $49 twice .which its mest up if this happened to you please report it and check ur starments and ur bank accts ...bad service

It is the best gym in town, basically. When one takes into account, the equipment they have may not be as much as say 24 hour fitness. But AV Sports Club offers a membership & monthly dues, that is HALF the cost of 24 hr. fitness. They are not overly crowded either like 24 hr. fitness. So for half the price, you get all the paladis type of equipment, stationary bikes, and treadmills, of both types. Dry weights as well, incl. boxing lessons, a boxing club, Yoga is taught 5 times a week,, over a 3 day period. They have a men's and co-ed dry and wet humid sauna. A nice Jacuzzi to loosen up ones tired muscles, which is nice, yet needs another jet or two as they are not appropriately placed in all 4 corners. Yet the only knock I give this gym & a 4 star rating over a 5, is not due to the cost cutting measures, which are passed onto members, (like a endless supply of towels provided, which AV fitness doesn't provide). It's not due to the lack of towels at all. It's simply I feel the pool temperature should be heated to some extent in the cold months like now. Yet in the summer heat, the water being cold is nice. I need a warm pool to do alot of physical rehab from a post back & shoulder surgeries. But the pool water is too cold, & I don't acclimate to the cold temp well in the Winters. Otherwise, this gym provides everything 24 hr. fitness basically does, at half the price. The staff is kind, plenty of trainers. A boxing club & ring exists. One couldn't ask for much more, when membership is only $20 a month. I actually prefer this gym to other fancier, newer equipment gyms, that are always overcrowded. It's got a nice pleasant ambient crowd, & environment. I would tell anyone to join this gym over any other gym in the Antelope Valley. PERIOD!!!!
