Dr. Ron Linehan is one of only two pain specialists in the Lancaster, Ohio area who have earned a subspecialty certification in pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Linehan has served Central Ohio patients and their families since 1998.
Using precise medical solutions, the Precision Pain Care team addresses the source of chronic pain and treats most patients with minimally invasive pain reduction techniques. Provided by YP.comMy mother has had severe pain issues caused by spinal stenosis. Dr. Linehan has always treated he with respect and has been quite candid in her treatment. On days he did not think she needed treatment he advised her against it. He even went to the hospital and gave her a shot there becasue she was in agony. She has need going regularly to him, on and off for two years - and because I take her I am writing this review. I have found him to be kind and tactful. Anita his nurse has always been great with my Mom. Mom looks forward to seeing her on her treatment days.
It warms my heart to hear about this patient's experience at Precision Pain Care. We strive to address each patient's pain as if he or she were a family member. I emphasize to each patient that my goal is to identify and treat the underlying cause of the pain and treat it at the source, rather than cover up the symptoms. Provided by YP.comWhle I found the doctor to be quite well versed in the treatment fo my pain issue, I also foud him to be a bit pushy in trying to get me to receive an injection on my initial visit.. I had hoped to continue decreasig my current medications and perhaps find a procedure that was not so costly! His staff member (Barbie I think??) was a bit rude and curt - his assistant was tolerable at best. I have asked my famiy doctor for a different referral.
I am truly sorry to hear that this patient feels she had a negative experience at our office. I rarely offer treatment on the initial consultation visit, and always emphasize that the patient makes the decision whether to undergo the recommended treatment. My whole approach is to identify and precisely treat the underlying cause of the pain, not to cover up the symptoms with medication. - Dr. Ron Linehan, MD, is Board-certified in anesthesiology, holds a Subspecialty Certification in Pain Management, and is certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine. The American Board of Anesthesiology subspecialty certification in pain management is the only certification in pain management recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. Dr. Linehan is qualified to treat all regions of the spine, including the neck (cervical), mid-spine (thoracic), lower back (lumbar), pelvic girdle and tailbone areas (sacrum and coccyx). He is certified in spinal cord stimulator placement, percutaneous discectomy, vertebroplasty, and radio frequency ablation. Dr. Linehan has Precision Pain Care offices in Lancaster and Canal Winchester, Ohio. In addition to pain management, Dr. Linehan practices general anesthesiology at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. He also volunteers with Operation Smile, a non-profit organization providing reconstructive facial surgery for children, HELPS Int'l, and the International Cardiac Care Foundation where he provides anesthesiology services for heart surgery patients in developing countries.
