My 4 month and 23 day old puppy, Binx, died while in care at DogSports.

Binx had documented crate anxiety. A DogSports employee told our vet office that Binx had been unable to settle himself all day. Binx was there 8 hours that day, had noted crate anxiety, employees were aware he was in distress, and NO ONE CALLED until he has passed away. He was found in his crate dead, with vomit and diarrhea.

Other PUBLIC information, the owner of the DogSports, Joanne Reaney, was charged with 35 counts of theft for allegedly embezzling $517k from her employer years ago. I’m not an attorney, but the court of common pleas document looks like an agreement was made for payback to potentially avoid the felony charge/jail time (PA criminal law Rule 586). In addition, more PUBLIC information, there is an open state tax lien on the business and there appears to be more than 10 open civil cases (with monetary judgments of over $100k due). It also appears that the owner lives over an hour away, out of state. All public information. Google reviews do not allow links - so you’ll have to search those out on your own.

An employee also used my file at DogSports to find my employer information and contact my HR department. My assumption is they were trying to get me in trouble somehow. They did not block their name or number, so they were reported to police. This is the level of professionalism you can expect from DogSports and their employees.

best ever dog training

this is the first place we took our dog to that he actually learned and had fun learning. if you've tried training inside chain stores like we did and learned almost nothing, try this place. they don't even suggest choke collars or prong collars, they can train any dog without hurting it. we would never go anywhere else.
