They did the paving on North Queen Street on Monday night, September 26, 2011. According to the Lancaster and Manheim Twp. Police departments, it was JD Eckman's responsibility to put up "No Parking" signs. They failed to do this, and many cars were towed. Owners had to pay the towing and storage fees to retrieve their vehicles. They claim the signs were up, but no one I have spoken to saw any. If they were up, it must have been a case of mass defiance for so many cars to be towed. Not likely. They simply did not put up the signs and are now covering their tracks.

And the car owners are out hundreds of dollars.
