On October 21st, it was noticed that Mindy (SC Off the Grid) decided to enter into the same industry as my own business which is a conflict of interest. On October 22nd, I cancelled advertising and requested a refund of the November money. She replied that same day that it would be "no problem", and that she would send a check. On October 30th, I messaged Mindy informing her that I had not received the check, and wanted to know if it had been sent. She replied the same day informing me that I should receive it by the end of the following week. On November 10th, I messaged her letting her know that I still had not received the check. I did not receive a response. On November 11th, I messaged again asking if it had been placed in the mail. At that time, I also offered her the ability to pay using PayPal which enables credit/debit cards for convenient. On November 12th, I messaged her asking for her to let me know which way she wanted to go on taking care of the refund. She replied on that day stating that she has sent a check. I asked when it was placed in the mail so that I could know approximately when it will arrive. She responded that it should be there tomorrow (13th) or Saturday (14th). On November 23rd, I informed her that I still had not received the check and asked if she'd like me to invoice her since at this point it had been over a month since the refund was requested. On November 24th, she stated that she didn't know why I hadn't received a check and if I felt the need to send an invoice, it was fine. I responded stating that an invoice would allow her to pay the refund electronically which would make it easier on her, and settle the matter quickly. I set up the PayPal invoice/money request. At that point, she blocked direct communication on Facebook. I began posting publicly, and emailing publicly asking for a status of the promised refund. On November 30th, I set a deadline of December 7th to receive the refund, or that I would proceed with BBB complaints. Refund still not received. I also had zero new traffic to my website, which out of 10000 readers, I would have expected at least some traffic.
