Panther Valley High School, also known as PVHS, enrolls more than 510 students in grades 9 through 12. Established in 1973, it conducts classes in science, math, physical education and English. The school also provides special education programs to students with learning difficulties. Panther Valley High School is accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, as well as offers career education sessions. It provides various sports activities, such as football, volleyball, basketball and wrestling. The school operates a cafeteria that offers a variety of food items for lunch. Panther Valley High School is a part of the Panther Valley School District.
