Dr. Carmine has been practicing in Lansing since 1975. He received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO). He was also a clinical instructor at ICO for several years after he graduated. Dr. Carmine and Carmine Vision Care are active members of the local community. Carmine Vision Care has sponsored boys and girls little league teams, participated in vision screenings at many local schools, spoken at Career Days at many high schools, and sponsored numerous organizations with their charity efforts. Dr. Carmine has been a member and officer of the Lansing chapter of Rotary International, and the Lansing Jaycees. Some of Dr. Carmine’s hobbies include racquetball, softball, and travel. His wife, Laura, is a professor at Lewis University, and he has two sons: one in Homewood and one in Portland, Oregon. “Since I opened Carmine Vision Care, I have always been committed to providing patients with personal service and the highest possible care. This office works hard at meeting our patients needs, whatever those needs might be. We believe in establishing long-term relationships with patients, and trust and integrity are big parts of that relationship. I am proud to say that we have had some patients since I opened the door. Many have moved away, yet they still come here for their eye exams.”
