Provided by YP.comI would rate it lower than one star if I could. Here is what they missed.
All 10 grease fittings. Not one was touched, I asked 3 times and they said they did it. The tires were checked but the pressure not adjusted. That apparently was an option that I had to ask for. Only washer fluid added, coolant overflow tank was still empty. Full size Ford truck that only takes 5 quarts? It does show full. Always took 6 before? Curious. If you only want to get the oil filter and some of your oil changed at a cheap price, this is your place.

Provided by YP.comI have been taking my car to big rays since 2009. The customer service and personal investment the workers have in what they do is really a great thing. I honestly feel like the employees care about what they do, and they genuinely want every customer to be treated fair, and to be satisfied. They always do all they can to give you the best deal while still doing quality work. My dad has worked on cars and at GM for years and always recommends Big Rays. He always says, they'll take care of you down at Big Rays. And they always do.

Provided by YP.comHorrible rude service! I have owned my car since it was brand new and have always had it serviced at a chevy dealer. I decided one day to "save" a few dollars and take it to "Big Ray's Express Lube" on south cedar, Lansing, MI. I was told I needed a engine flush, (which is not recommended by any manufacturer) and I refused and just told them I needed a oil change. Come to find out after taking it to the chevy dealer with less than 2,500 mi put on it since Big Ray's changed it, the oil was completely black. The filter was not changed and I suspect recycled oil was used. This place is a fraud and scam. Use your best interest and please go elsewhere for your oil changes. I personally will Never be back.

Provided by YP.comDO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING! Went in for an oil change on my 2000 Chevy Blazer. It's old and has it's problems. The sign out front said $19.99 for oil change so I thought I would save a little money going here and help out a local small business. I chose to get "high mileage" oil since my truck has 197,000 miles on it. Add $15. No problem. They said my front and back differential were low on lube and the back one needed to be flushed. They offered to flush and fill the back for $20 and then just top off the front for free because the back one was the dirtiest. I said ok. So I paid, with tax, about $58 for a $20 oil change. But I thought it was worth it with such an old truck to get the "extra special treatment".
Ever since I bought the truck a couple of months ago, it's had issues and they've been a work in progress. I'm dealing with that. But my truck has never leaked anything and it's been running pretty good.
Since I went to BIG RAY'S: The day after I went there, it started leaking from the front end what I think is the lube they topped off. The drive train has started rattling and is getting louder and louder every day.
I don't have any proof that they "did something" to my truck, but I would just like to warn people to stay away from this place because I think they screwed something up. I'm taking my truck to my mechanic to see if it's salvageable today. I should have taken it to him in the first place, so I've learned a valuable lesson about trying to save a buck. And BTW, I didn't read the above comments until after I went there. Should have read them first.

Provided by YP.comAWFUL. They need to be run out of town. Went there to get a basic thing done, but they screwed up my car big time, gave me the run around, and tried to pretend they hadn't done anything. Total scumbags. I'd file a small claims case except that I cannot bear to deal with the punchable douchey managers any more.
