The firm of C.L. Moore & Associates has been in operation since 1990. The firm provides full service accounting to individuals, businesses and educational institutions. With its unique "lease a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Service" the firm is able to handle the day-to-day activities of a company's operation including: cash management, cash flow analysis, payroll services, bank statement reconciliation, bill payment accounts receivable, invoicing, and loan negotiations. Through the "lease a CFO" program, C.L. Moore & Associates currently manage over 250 employees. In this capacity, the firm oversees MIOSHA compliance, hiring practices and reviews employee health benefits.

Mr. Moore was employed with the State of Michigan, Department of Commerce (Bank and Trust Division) as a Senior Examiner. In that capacity, he was in charge of audits from banks with assets in excess of $25 billion. His primary function was to conduct operation audits for institutions that included analysis, review of operational systems, internal controls and stability of earnings, liquidity and capacity adequacy. These reviews concluded with a detailed report of problems and recommended corrective action plans.

Additionally, C.L Moore & Associates has expanded its skills by serving in the capacity of Interim Internal Auditor for the Lansing Board of Water and Light from August 2006 to June 2007. Currently, the firm continues to perform audit services for the Board Of Water and Light, which is a $280 million operation with an estimated capital budget of $100 million The auditing services being provided primarily consists of compliance reviews, reporting pertinent and substantial findings, and making recommendations to the Board of Commissioners.
