"Going back to 1935, or at least that is what I am told, Garrage Family Floor Sanding has been serving the Lansing area, producing some the the highest quality floors possible. It began with my Great Grandfather, Frank Garrage, pictured above working in 1944. He began a one man operation out of a horse and buggy setup. Okay, I made that part up, although it wouldn't surprise me. His son, Gene Garrage, eventually took over the business. Working through the downs of the carpet craze during the 1970's and the housing boom of the 80's and 90's, he perfected the process from which our outstanding reputation is based on today. His Daughter, Leigh Ann, eventually took over and passed the skills and knowledge down do me. I strive to maintain the outstanding level of craftsmanship and quality that we have carried on for so many years." -Ken Hoffman
