Lapeer East High School provides educational services to more than 1,400 students in grades 8 through 12. The school s general academic curriculum includes language arts, math, science, social studies, and health and physical education. It offers French and Spanish language courses. It also conducts classes in business, marketing, keyboarding, industrial arts and life management. Lapeer East High School also operates a band and choir. The school provides advanced educational programs for gifted and talented students. It supports a variety of sports activities, such wrestling, football, basketball, soccer, golf, ice hockey and cross country. In addition, it offers a range of student activities that includes art, pottery, sculpting, and vocal and instrumental music. Lapeer East High School provides meals, guidance counseling and health care. Located in Lapeer, Mich., the school is operated by Lapeer Community Schools, which serves over 6,800 students and employs more than 700 staff members.
