I would like to thank Rob Betley for taking the time to help me find the perfect vehicle, Keith Perry for taking the time to make sure that the payment fit my budget and Rhonda Jones for getting all the paperwork together. I love my new 2015 Fusion!!!! Also Rob took the time to sit in my new car with me and tell me about all the great features plus Rhonda personally introduced me to the service team which I thought was great - also the icing on the cake was when I saw the dog Drake running around and getting lovin from everyone including myself - that really made me smile. The whole experience was awesome and I would like to thank everyone that I met that day who made it possible for me to drive off the lot in my new car.

We purchased our 2014 Ford Explorer at Milnes Ford recently and are very happy with our experience there. Our salesperson, Tim Ericson, went out of his way to provide exceptional service. He completed several searches around Michigan for the vehicle we wanted, and when he was unable to find a model with the exact options we wanted, he helped us order one from the factory. From start to finish, Tim provided professional, honest, competent, and reliable assistance, following up with my questions, and getting us a great deal on a great vehicle. Tim helped at looking at many cars , I found him honest and kind , even when I popped the cluch in one of the cars , he encourage me and said it happend to us all ! it was a nice time looking at cars ! I didn't get stressed out , maybe did but He didn't show it!

We felt as though we were doing business at home, They were so helpful going over the controls and assisting getting the vehicle ready to tow with the motorhome "south for the winter". Provided by YP.comDo not buy from Milnes Ford Lapeer. Was buying a new car and truck, had bought a new car there a year and a half ago. Rebates on the truck went from 5500 to 5000 during the buying process then from the 5000 the day before to 4000 on the day I was picking It up. They attempted changing the price on final paperwork as I went to pick up the truck ( which was conveniently running by the front door as I arrived at the dealership) adding on the 1000 dollar mistake made by them. I had a cashier's check from my credit union for the agreed upon final price no financing and unsecured title in hand. New car manager Dave Lightfoot blamed numbers confusion on the new car salesperson even though all numbers went thru him during the process from day one. In writing he changed 5500 rebate to 5000 then stated they would absorb the difference between the 5500 and 5000 to secure the deal. Also was supposed to knock off 500 because I was buying two vehicles. Didn't buy the truck obviously and got my 500 deposit back on the new car I ordered. I will never buy a ford again. Oh yeah and one time towards the beginning of the process Mr Lightfoot was supposed to call me back in an hour with an update regarding my trade in and that was at 10 in the morning. I did not hear back from him. I CALLED HIM at 3 pm the next day for an update. Bad experience all the way around. Gave them the benefit of the doubt several times until the final slap in the face at signing time. I would strongly urge that if you decide on a ford think twice and take my advice and DO NOT BUY AT MILNES FORD. SHOULD BE NEGATIVE 5 STARS. Absolutely HORRIBLE. This is my opinion.
The rebates that are offered from Ford can change on a monthly basis. They are also sometimes contingent upon the customer financing with Ford Motor Credit. We understand that it can be confusing and we try our best to explain all of the details. In this particular case, the customer’s initial visit was on March 14. 2013. At that time there was $5500 in rebates available to him. However, he didn’t purchase in March but waited until April 8, 2013 to contact us. We explained that on April 3, 2013 the rebates had changed from $5500 to $5000. He was upset by this and we agreed to increase the value of his trade vehicle by $500 to offset the difference. We then set an appointment for a delivery date of April 14, 2013. $1000 of the $5000 in rebates was only available if he financed with Ford Motor Credit and we went over this when we priced the vehicle out. When he decided later to pay cash he didn’t qualify for the additional $1000. The price of the vehicle being sold never changed and we increased his trade value by $500 (to help with the money lost from March to April). What he failed to mention is that we also agreed to pay for a spray in bed liner and wheel well liners ($750 retail) when the deal was originally agreed to in March. Provided by YPmobilei recently bought a used car from milnes now that i think about it the sales man hussled me told me that they dont wash the engine because they didnt want to cause electrical problems of course i believed him. i drove it home next day antifreeze all over the floor so took to local shop which i live 2 hours from milnes cost me 3500 to put a new engine due to a crack in the block im still working on this car it needs 2 rear wheel bearings 2 rear calipers pads rotors control arm bushings i put 2 front struts. i talked to the owner of milnes he was a complete jerk told me i bought as is so basically im screwed didnt offer to buy the car back and half the time the secretary told me he was on vacation i do not recommend buying a used car from this dealer they care about money and thats it. if i only paid 1000 for this car i would have been happy but i paid 3900 out the door was told it was a great car and well taken car of which it looks like it was but mechanically no. this car was also repainted i hit a deer and the local body shop cant match the paint so now i have a 7000+ used miss match car that still needs work if i sold the car i would lose to much money so im just hoping last at least a year. thanks milnes and jesse and the owner go f**k yourselves
I spoke with Tom and Jesse and went through the files to get to the bottom of this. It looks like we paid for your new engine, new brakes and new rotors before even seeing this review. 'As-is' means there are no warranties on the vehicle. Most dealers will not reimburse you for anything on an 'as-is' vehicle. Tom is not the owner of Milnes and he retired back in December.
