Operational since 1947, Regency Affiliates is a publicly traded parent company of several subsidiary businesses. The company holds interest in Mobile Energy Services Company through Regency Power Corporation. Mobile Energy Services Company owns an on-site energy facility that supplies steam and electricity to a Kimberly-Clark tissue mill in Alabama. Regency Affiliates has also acquired a limited partnership interest in Security Land and Development Company Limited Partnership, which owns an office building and tower occupied by the United States Social Security Administration Office of Disability and International Operations.
