My husband decided to get his veins treated after many years.We went to Mountcastle in Largo several times for his treatment. On many occasions we were treated by the same young doctor that seemed rather inexperienced. His bedside manner was poor, and he didnt seem very concerned for the patient; rather eager to get it done and get them out. On many occasions he didn't remove the lotion that they use prior to the treatment, or forgot to put it on all together, and this left us wondering exactly how thorough he was in his work. My husband's clothes and leg would be lubricated with this lotion, causing stains and discomfort many times. In addition to this, the medical assistant that accompanied the doctor was overly friendly young lady (almost flirting with the doctor and patients) and wore very inappropriate clothing exposing her cleavage and lower back tattoo. We decided not to return, between the doctor and the assistant we were so uncomfortable going there. When we reached out to the office for medical records, they refused to release them and made excuses each time as to why the papers were not forwarded to the new doctor we found just a few blocks away. I finally had to threaten them in order to get the papers released. I now know why they advertise so much on sites like Groupon as well as in the mall in Tampa (they have a kiosk there with a pushy sales person offering a “free” consultation). I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE. Save your money and find a better facility, they lack professionalism and concern for patients...they just want your money – bottom line.
