Dr. Chenthuran "Chen" Deivaraju earned his Master of Surgery in orthopedics in Chandigarh, India and his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Kilpauk Medical College in Chennai, India. He is an affiliate assistant professor at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Cruces. He holds a provisional patent for his linear compression technique for fixation of long-bone fractures. He was awarded Physician of the Year 2017 at Alta Vista Regional Hospital in Las Vegas, NM.
