Robert is Great! When I was 20 (6 Years Ago) I rented my First Las Cruces Apt with Robert He Went out of his way to rent to me. I had little money he broke up the deposit he understood when my partner got his credit card number stolen he worked with us. He even gave us a monthly discount for paying ontime. I rented a total of 2x from him he was great both times. Yes there is a strict pet policy but these apartments are small there is no room for them. Thank you Robert for Everything I would Rent Again if I needed a Place in Las Cruces.

Yep, Robert, two sides to every story. Here is another voice telling the world what a nasty apartment complex you have. You charged $45 to clean an already clean apartment and $45 to steam clean the nastiest carpets I've ever seen. I'm going to find as many places as I can to let people know that you are not one that people should trust to do business with. Disgusting!!!!

Horrible.

I thought I was golden when I found an apartment so close to campus. Turns out it was the worst 6 months I've ever had living in an apartment.

1) Upstairs neighbors. I could hear their EVERY WORD. I could tell what TV channel they were on, when their phone rang, when they'd let their 2 year old brat stay up till 3 am every day, I could hear the flush of the toilet, and when the lady would start throwing dishes are her hubby. Every single word. And every squeak of the bed. Land lord care? NO!!! Even after I called the cops 5 times.

2) Heater didn't work. I called it in, and no one EVER came to look at it. Same thing with the bath tub faucet, it leaked horribly. I'd run a shower, and half the water wouldn't reach the shower head. Called it in, said they came and fixed it, but I didn't notice any difference in the slightest.

3) I was blamed for the trashed screens on the windows. In the back of the complex, you could see just about every screen that had fallen from the windows of other apartments. They lay there broken and unnoticed for 5 and a half months. But the week I'm moving out, the maintenance guy knocks on my door, telling me I will be paying to replace mine. Did he even ask if there were screens when I moved in?? No, because I would have told them that there hadn't been, and that was the truth.

4) I was planned to move out on the last day of the month, which I guess was a holiday, as the landlord decided to close the office without notice. I moved out my stuff a couple days before my lease was over, but left a couple of fragile belongings there, to be moved last. I returned to my apartment the morning of the last day of my lease, and they had removed my belongings, and totally trashed my clean floors with muddy boot prints, specifically on the kitchen tile. I don't know what you'd call that, but I call that breaking and entering, as the apartment was still mine until the evening of the last day on my lease, and theft, as they took my belongings without consent.

5) Maintenance guy seems to think its okay to walk into an apartment without knocking.

Besides all of the above, the apartment is crap. The carpets are filthy, the kitchens are tiny and almost non existent, and the bathroom I got was so encrusted with mildew, that I had to literally crack open my shower knobs when I first moved in.

I also hate landlords who dislike animals, and this landlord seems to have a severe vendetta against every pet imaginable.

I will never sign another lease with E & H properties.

There are always two sides to every story, and Ms. Vesseley surely has hers. She forgets to mention we went out of the way to rent to her when she was in a bad way, with the understanding we were not going to renew after 6 months because of her 2 cats as we do have a strict no pet policy. As for a vendetta against all pets I personally have 3 cats and 2 dogs but do not live in an apartment.Value for the dolar on our apartments rank at the top, and our return customers after renting from others is amazing. unfortunatly we can't please everyone. Try talking to our current tenants if you like a different veiw as to how we really do business.
