On a Saturday, we discovered that we had run out of propane! A call to Griffins home office number connected us to a very helpful person who dispatched a truck to us in about an hour. We have used Griffins for 10 years, and have always found their service to be excellent. In this case, they went "above and beyond"!

They have issues keeping their policies straight. They change every time I talk to them. I called them to fill up when my tank was 20%. They scolded me for not waiting until it was at five percent, then told me they would throw in a discount and be out immediately. We called at five percent, they said the discount was three percent instead. They said they would be out same day if we waited until our propane level was so low. They didn't come. I called and asked where they were - supposedly, they'll be out today and they deny giving discounts based on tank levels at time of fill-up...In the mean time, I scared to turn on the heat past 65 degrees for fear we'll run out of propane while my family shivers under a pile of blankets. Currently it's 29 degrees outside. Ill be changing companies (but not to Servigas who want $150 to start a new account; without having sold me any propane.)
