My collie has significant health issues, so when he needs to be kenneled, he requires superior staff to monitor his "pees" and "poops," to administer his daily regimen of 11-12 pills at eight hour intervals, and to generally be observant in caring for his welfare. Marilyn is the best professional groomer with whom I have worked - and grooming a rough collie is a challenge. Russel is the best "kennel keeper" I have seen. And Ken is a dear, honest owner. Where my dog is concerned, only conscientious care will due. These folks will love your four-legged companions like they are their own. ����.

If you need to board your dog, bring your dog here! The people here all love dogs and know how to care for them. The facilities are super clean, large and comfortable for our two large retrievers. Playtime facilities are excellent, and bathing/grooming services are simply top-notch. The prices here are a bargain for such high quality care - hands down!!

This place has been a blessing for me and my family. My dog is so happy when he stays there, he wants to go back in when I go to pick him up. Also the grooming there is superb!

Book early.Nice indoor/outdoor kennels.Try the optional play time. They figured out what game my dog likes to play. (Tag)Marilyn, Ken and other staff are very organized and extremely pleasant to deal with.Great location.

I have two large dogs that are very playful, but a handful! When I saw how the manager and staff handled the dogs, I was immediately at ease. These guys had a great time for a week with the large space and the playtime we requested. Very happy here!

We have taken our dogs here for many years to be groomed. A new owner took over and when we took our dogs in they did a horrible job. My husband called on the phone and the owner tried to blame it on our dogs saying they had behavioral problems. We spent $100 for nothing. We then took them to another groomer in town who did an excellent job. It is old mesilla kennels loss. We were excellent long time customers, but we don't mind giving our business to someone who deserves it.

Our new dog, Chloe, a purebred English Setter was recently a guest at Old Mesilla Kennel. We decided with the time and service we had been given with our other 2 dogs, we would also have her groomed at the end of her stay. We are absolutely delighted with the way she looks and she was extremely happy on her return home!! We now have 3 dogs that we would bring here at the drop of a hat. This is a great place.
