Provided by YP.comafter visits to 4 different mechanics and being told I had transmission problem, Carl and Juan both said I had a miss in engine. Sure one more trip to different mechanics, engine miss was problem. Both Juan and Carl diagnosed problem right away.
One of previous mechanics wanted to clip a wire in transmission to alleviate the problem!
Thanks so much Juan & Carl

Provided by YP.comI thought I had major problems with my RV transmission, and I was prepared to have a rebuilt one installed. When I arrived at Transmission Whse, Carl took it for a road test and said: "If I replace the transmission, it won't be any better than it is now". After replacing a broken part and adjusting the bands, the vibration was greatly reduced, at a fraction of what I was prepared to pay. Just waiting now for engine and trans mounts to come in. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing work on their transmission.. Carl and the crew are top-notch at what they do! FIVE * * * * * STARS!

Provided by YP.comI turned 90 years old this year. I've been going to the Transmission Warehouse now for about 3 years. I am always treated very fair when I bring in my vehicle. They even give me a ride home when they are fixing my car. They always treat me fair and Carl is a very good person. I even quit my mechanic of 30 years and started going there instead.

I took a Jeep Cherokee in to have its manual transmission rebuilt after a phone call where I was quoted an $850 rebuild price (to include labor) and a 4-day install time. I should have taken the first hint when I walked into the office and the transmission rebuilder was asleep on the desk in the middle of the day. After a quick discussion with the manager, I left the car, expecting to pick it up in 4 days.A week later, after no communication from the shop, my wife called to check on the car, only to be told that the rebuild parts were "delayed" and that the quoted install price didn't actually include the install, but they could do that "for an extra $200." I called back and after a pointed discussion with the manager, was told it would be another 4-5 days and the car would be ready.Fast forward 10 days later...after zero communication from the shop, I called to check on the status of the car only to be told that the parts were "still delayed" and that they were "working on it best they could."A week later, after no communication from the shop I dropped in unannounced during business hours to check on the vehicle. As soon as I walked into the office, the rebuilder, who was sitting in a chair, simply said "Uh-oh" and walked out of the office, leaving me to deal with the manager. I was informed the transmission had been rebuilt, but after reinstalling the "rebuilt" transmission they discovered the vehicle was stuck in reverse and wouldn't shift out, leaving me to agree with the previous review here indicating that transmissions aren't actually rebuilt, but rather sourced from junkyards. I was promised another 4 days and the vehicle would be ready. Here I am a week later, writing this review. It's now been a month for the "4-day" job and I'm still waiting to hear from the shop.Other options may be more expensive, but don't waste your time on this shop. The only reason I gave them one star is because it wouldn't let me give them zero.

I took my car in to have the trans. rebuilt apprx. 2 months later it was done. Guess what oil leaks, trans. slipping, parts not installed properly, etc... if you ask me the bought some junk yard trans. and put it in.

they rebuilt a transmission with old worn parts and it lasted less than 900 miles, I had it rebuilt by a reputable shop and they showed me the evidence, steer clear, they are crooks.
