I struggled with heroin addiction for almost ten years. I have been to a few rehabs in my active addiction but nothing compares to the respect and care I received at Desert Hope. The detox procedure was quick and pleasant. I was welcomed with open arms by the staff and at that point I knew I was in the right place. I loved the one-on-one meetings with my therapist and case manager. The staff truly work hard to make sure you get cared for. There's a five star chef cooking three meals a day!

Desert Hope gave me all the tools necessary to live a life free of drugs. Because of this program and the suggestions I took from the staff, I am clean today.

Desert Hope was a wonderful experience through and through. The facility as a whole is a beautiful one, and the staff is great. I received a great amount of personal attention and group therapy that was second to none. I was able to connect with a therapist individually and get closer to my peers in a group setting. I found that the 12 step meetings that would visit from the outside thoroughly helped me understand the importance of getting involved with the fellowship when I got out, two which I still attend regularly. The food is top of the line and the staff make the stay as comfortable as possible. I am deeply appreciative of Desert Hope for leading me in the right direction and opening my eyes to a life of sobriety, along with setting me up with the proper after care that made it possible for me to stay sober today.

desert hope was a beautiful place they all should look like that but that's it, They promised so much and they did nothing my son went willing begining me he did not want to die or lose everything, well they were short staffed so he never really got to talk to someone on a regular basis it never happened he was there 15 days before he even talked to someone one on one, people would jump the wall and bring drugs in and they would use and not get tested on days because know one would check them out, and then notice they werent check and would do it twice in one day after like 3 days. He want to stay for the 90 but was kicked out as soon as his insurance was done , they offer 90 and if you do not get clean you get another 30 days, well that is a joke, they need more staff, more consoling for these people i wish they would call and say lets have him back i know it was new but they should have sent him to one of the others that were more staffed and had it together so disappointed dont go there when they let people out to get stuff to brig your child stuff in
