Provided by YP.comIn Vegas for a long weekend and picked this place for a little pistol practice. I had my own gun and shooting bag so maybe they thought I knew what I was doing but there was no questioning of my mental state or ability, but I did have to read and sign their Range Rules which does include questions of this type. At the range I go to in Houston near my office (Athena Gun Club) they had me insert and remove a mag then lock the slide back for the first 4 visits or so before they got to recognize me. American Shooters are still short of ammo and I had to go into the shop to buy some 40S&W. The range would only give ammo to people renting their guns. Cost was very reasonable for range time ($15) and the ammo was not particularly inflated. ($20 per box of 50.) The range is not the most advanced in that the target shuttle is moved by a forward/back toggle switch - no computer control. Safety situation seemed OK but was quite low key. The shop area was the best that I have ever seen. Loads of guns to buy as well as tons of accessories and clothing. Prices seemed in-line with catalogs and guns did not seem to be marked up as in some places. Staff were extremely nice and in the shop in particular, very helpful. All in all a very good experience and the next time I am in Vegas I will definitely be going back.
